The Hooding Ceremony formally acknowledges and celebrates the achievements of graduating medical students. The Hooding Ceremony also signals another step in their medical career as students recite the Hippocratic Oath and are welcomed into the medical profession.

The regalia rental package for MCG students is $129 plus $12 shipping.
Regalia ordering is open now through March 15th.
Rented regalia must be returned by May 15 to the RoarStore on the Summerville Campus.
Regalia will be available for pickup at the Campus RoarStore beginning April 24. Payment is due at the time of pickup.
Regalia returned after the May 15th deadline will incur a $30.00 late fee.

There are no tickets for the hooding ceremony; students are permitted to invite as many guests as they would like.

Yes, there will be a class photo on the steps of the Old Medical College prior to Hooding.
12:00 PM鈥�(Sharp): Class picture鈥痑t the ,鈥痠n regalia.鈥疪egional and 果冻传媒/UGA Medical Partnership campuses鈥痺ill take their campus photos after the full class one.
- The Downtown City of Augusta is experiencing multiple construction and road repairs in and around the event venues.
- 7th Street will be closed to through traffic from Fenwick Street to the Bell Auditorium.
- Telfair Street has two lanes of traffic open with ongoing construction expected during the event. Drop-off and pickup areas in front of the Bell will be highly congested as a result.
- Traffic patterns will be subject to change.

The MCG Hooding Ceremony is for all MCG graduating students from all MCG campuses. The Hooding Ceremony formally acknowledges medical student achievement through the administration of the Hippocratic Oath.
果冻传媒 Graduate Hooding and Commencement Ceremony is held with The Graduate School. The MCG graduating class presidents from both campuses will attend on behalf of the class with the MCG Dean to recognize the graduation of all MCG students.
