The purpose of this pilot study is to determine whether infants < 1,800 grams provided donor human milk may experience better growth following transition to preterm infant formula. Donor human milk is the principle diet provided to preterm and very low birth weight infants to supplement mother's own milk. However, infants provided substantial quantities of donor human milk due to insufficient quantities of mother's own milk often experience slow postnatal growth. We hypothesize the transitioning to preterm formula after the first month of life will support better postnatal growth and fat-free mass accumulation. The primary outcome for this study is growth velocity (g/kg/day) at 36 weeks postmenstrual age
