Enhances our brand and reputation by leveraging opportunities to advance our research and educational missions through strategic and active storytelling.
Advises and partners with key stakeholders at the local, state and federal levels of government to impact legislation and policy that advances and supports our institutional goals and imperatives.
Manages high-level, high-impact university events and serves as a resource for faculty, staff and students on the planning, execution and procedural protocol implementation needed for hosting special events.
"This program is a prime example of turning those strengths into opportunities, giving students the chance to bring classroom learning into the real world through paid, meaningful internships right here on campus," says Russell T. Keen. "We're fond of education. Students need all the help they can get nowadays," says Bob Witherington. Among the renovations that began in 2024 are branding to the main-entrance awning and on-course pavilion, a full outside cleaning and new paint in the clubhouse. INNOVATE winners Ray Wade and Ibrahim Mohammad will compete in the University System of Georgia's Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition in April.
